Meningitis hits Niger State, Death toll rises to 265 Amid Vaccine shortages

There is a reported case of Meningitis outbreak in Niger state. the state commissioner for health Nano Aghali addressing newsmen said the infection is on the rise and the state barely has half of the required vaccine to contain the outbreak. with the closure of all schools since the outbreak, the infection is yet on the increase with over 1150 infections reported.
