Barely two days after US president, Barak Obama got his personal twitter account with the handle @POTUS, he has amassed a large 2.26 million followers. His wife, Michelle Obama runs her own account with the handle @FLOTUS with 1.98 million followers.
He opened the account with his first tweet reading “Hello, Twitter! It’s Barack. Really! Six years in, they’re finally giving me my own account.” and of today he has posted three tweets.
